Back on the 28th March I posted ‘A Lone Marker Post – a metaphor perhaps’. This was just five days after Lockdown began in the UK on the 23rd of March. Yesterday I returned to this beach for the first time in well over 3 months and subsequently made the above image.

Today Capture One Pro launched a free and very worthwhile upgrade to their editing software. There are a number of enhancements, bug fixes, support for new cameras etc, but in terms of the user experience there are two significant changes which I thought I would try out for myself.

Having to spend so much time at home, both in the house but also in the garden has really made me appreciate the beauty of everything around me. Whether it’s the way light falls on a subject or the actual subject itself, it has been a joy for me to capture these moments.
