Projects

I am a great believer in projects both large and small. Some may only be for a weekend as I explore and photograph a new place with the intention of taking some images which capture what I saw and how I felt at the time.

Other projects can last many months, years or even a lifetime. These can range from collating a panel of work for a photographic distinction, staging an exhibition, to building a body of work suitable for publication.

I have a number of ongoing projects but there are two in particular which are both long term –

I started this project in 2016 and the collection of images is still growing. A body of work will be exhibited at The Oxmarket Centre of Arts in Chichester between 14th and 19th November 2017.

Altar shadows

This project has been ongoing since 2015 and whilst I have photographed many churches near my home and in neighbouring counties, there are a countless number I would like to  visit in the future. This project also provided me with the inspiration to apply and be awarded an Associateship of The Royal Photographic Society.
